Welcome Barton's new finance staff!

The Barton Institute has dramatically expanded our capacity to support our rapidly growing program partners and plans for expansion in 2024 and beyond.

In May, we shared that Dan Lee has joined us as our new Chief Financial Officer. Before joining the Barton Institute, Dan served for more than 20 years as the CFO of The Denver Foundation.

In July, Dan brought on Jennifer Corzine as Controller and Katya Stoyanova as Accounting Clerk. Jennifer is a CPA who most recently served as Controller for the Charter School Growth Fund. Katya comes with a background in corporate analytics and banking operations and is enjoying her first nonprofit role with the Barton Institute.

"These outstanding professionals are already ramping up our capabilities as a fiscal sponsor,” says David Miller, the Barton Institute’s CEO. “We’ll be able to provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to our partners as they grow and do even more to serve their communities."

On October 1, Dan Lee will become the Barton Institute’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as the CFO. Rebecca Arno will become the Chief Impact and Innovation Officer (CIIO). David added, “After doing an excellent job launching the Barton Institute’s financial and operational systems, Rebecca will now be in charge of the Barton Institute’s programs and communications.”
