Announcement: Rebecca Arno Transition

Dear Friends of the Barton Institute, 

We are writing to let you know that Rebecca Arno, our Chief Impact and Innovation Officer (CIIO), will be leaving the Barton Institute effective July 9. Rebecca has been offered, and has accepted, the job of CEO at the Prosperity Denver Fund. (PDF) starting in August.

Rebecca has been with the Barton Institute almost since our inception. She joined in early 2017, shortly after we were established. In the 7+ years that Rebecca has worked at the Barton Institute, she has served in almost every capacity. In addition to being CIIO since last year, she has been Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Communications Officer.

It's hard to imagine what the Barton Institute would be like today were it not for Rebecca. She was instrumental in starting many of our programs, including the Social Enterprise Fellowships at the University of Denver, and in helping launch and connect us with the Colorado Safe Parking Initiative. Rebecca’s calm demeanor and can-do attitude have been largely responsible for the achievements of the Barton Institute over the years.

We will miss Rebecca dearly, but we are extremely excited about her new position at PDF. She will continue serving our community in challenging new ways. Starting in August, you can reach her at her new email address: rarno@prosperitydenverfund.org.
