Impact100 Honors Colorado Safe Parking Initiative

The Colorado Safe Parking Initiative is honored to be chosen as one of three finalists for 2024 by the distinguished women’s giving circle Impact100 Metro Denver, and to receive a generous grant of $50,000. The resources will help CSPI to tell its story and build a strong cadre of supporters to help expand its work in Metro Denver.

Since 2015, Impact100 has granted more than $1.2 million to nonprofits in the Metro area. As part of a global movement of similar women’s giving circles around the world, the 100-plus members of Impact100 Metro Denver each donate $1,000 per year and then volunteer their time to find and select organizations that receive the grant awards.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized,” says CSPI’s Executive Director Terrell Curtis. “This generous grant will power our outreach in a way that would have been impossible without it. We hope to broaden our circle of supporters so that we can grow the number of Safelots in Metro Denver.” With 13 lots in five counties serving over 110 people each night who are living in their vehicles, CSPI is still only serving about 10% of the people who contact the organization each year.
