Village Institute: Night Out at the Village Builds Friendships, Funds

From Village Institute staff

The Village Institute held our annual Night Out at the Village gala on October 22, welcoming nearly 100 new and old friends into our beautifully renovated outdoor space. The theme this year was "A Second Home" - kicking off a capital campaign to create a new community resource center onsite, opening up space for career development classes, mental health programming, community events, family services, and more.

The gala also celebrated The Village Institute's accomplishments over the past year, including:

  • Supporting 50 women with credentialing requirements and classroom experience for successful careers in early childhood education

  • Preparing 50 teens and women for successful careers in the fields of health and mental health

  • Opening and filling a toddler classroom, expanding their vibrant early learning community to serve kids ages 1 and up

  • Supporting 50+ families - predominantly single mom families - with intensive case management services, ensuring their access to nutritious food, housing, healthcare, legal services, education, career opportunities, and more
