Lifespan Local “Graduates” from the Barton institute

Just as the Barton Institute separated amicably from the University of Denver at the beginning of 2020, Lifespan Local separated from the Barton Institute in early July 2022. The Barton Institute helped to incubate Lifespan Local as it launched and grew, and now Lifespan is ready to become an independent nonprofit organization.

The Barton Institute will continue to follow and support the incredible work of Lifespan Local to build community in Southwest Denver.
